Rather than measuring nutrients only in blood serum, this assessment evaluates nutrient status within white blood cells, where many metabolic processes occur.
Traditional blood tests typically measure nutrients circulating outside the cell at a single point in time.
The SpectraCell test evaluates nutrient sufficiency within white blood cells, reflecting longer-term nutrient status (approximately the previous 4-6 months) and providing insight into functional utilization.
